KB3000-AHL Adult Changing Station

For Adults and Adolescents

The KB3000 is tested to support up to 500 lbs. (227 kg) and features a large changing surface that is 75.3” (1913mm) long by 31.5” (800mm) wide.

Height Adjustment

To enable safe transfer and use, the changing surface’s height can be adjusted from a minimum of 11.8” (300mm) to a maximum of 40.9” (1040mm) from the floor. For easy operation, height adjustment button sets are located both on the bed and on the front of the wall casing. The curved cut-out in the changing surface’s edge allows for easier caregiver access.

Safety

This UL-certified station features an integrated emergency battery backup to ensure continued operation in the event of a power outage. A wall-mounted emergency stop button will cut power to the actuator for added safety.

Durability

The vandal-resistant changing surface and integrated, recessed height adjusters are manufactured to resist tampering. The plastic surface has an IX10 rating, meaning it can withstand hard impact and sharp objects. The changing surface frame is made of 2” powder-coated, stainless steel tubing, and its IPX4 rating means the station can withstand significant exposure to water without damaging electrical components. The unit also has no removable parts or exposed wires.

Maintenance

The smooth changing surface is made of polyethylene and can be easily wiped down and cleaned. It can also be hosed down with water if needed. Its crevice-free design prevents debris from collecting on the changing surface.
