The grab bar can serve as a support, a grip, and an aid for transferring a person when folded down.
In the vertical position, lateral access is possible.
Removable: easily detachable with an anti-theft mounting system. Reduces the number of grab bars needed in an institution and allows a grab bar to be installed only when necessary.
