What is BREEAM?

BREEAM stands for Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method.

It is a method for assessing and classifying the sustainability of construction projects. Based on various criteria, divided into ten categories, the sustainability of a building is objectively assessed. For each of these criteria, it is examined to what extent a building scores better than legal requirements and standard performance. Based on this, the building ultimately receives a classification ranging from "Pass, Good, Very good, Excellent to Outstanding". This classification makes it possible to objectively compare one building with others.

"Dyson hand dryers have up to 85% less CO2 impact than paper towels and warm air hand dryers, supported by Life Cycle assessments from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Carbon Trust. They help
save billions of disposable paper towels.
