Dyson Airblade HEPA filter for models AB01, AB03, AB05, AB06 en de AB07 and AB14

All Dyson Airblade™ hand dryers are fitted with closed HEPA filters as standard. This means they can capture 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 microns, including bacteria and viruses. HEPA is defined as a filter that captures 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 microns and is tested according to the IEST-RP-CC001.6 standard. Standard EN1822-5 further tests filters to capture 99.95% of particles of the most pervasive size, typically around 0.1 microns. Dyson HEPA filters meet both tests, so users can rest assured that they are drying their hands with HEPA purified air. Filters that do not meet these stringent testing standards may be less effective at removing potentially harmful particles from the environment.

HEPA filter maintenance

Check regularly that the air inlet is free of dust and dirt. Sweeping a soft cloth over the air inlet should be sufficient to remove dust and dirt. If the air inlet becomes clogged, more thorough cleaning is required or the filter may need to be replaced. If needed, for heavy use environments, a Dyson filter replacement kit is available, which contains everything you need to replace your device's HEPA filter on site. Contact the Dyson helpline for more information. Cleaning or replacing the filter for your hand dryer can be done by carefully following the instructions in the filter replacement kit. HEPA filter replacement

HEPA filters last about 3,000 hand drying cycles. Annual cleaning is very important. If you have removed the dust and you don't see too many black dots, it can still last. You can also take off a layer if necessary. But if HEPA filter is wet, it should also be replaced. (Often in food industry).
